​Shirley Chisholm: Unbossed & Unbowed. Ingrid Griffith performs in her one-woman play, bringing to life the remarkable and often overlooked story of Shirley Chisholm, the Brooklyn-born daughter of immigrant parents who became the first African American woman elected to the United States Congress and the first African American to seek a major party’s presidential nomination. An immersive, interactive solo show in which actress and playwright Ingrid Griffith portrays Shirley Chisholm and 15 other characters.
