The Living Newspaper: Women’s* Edition by Repro Freedom Arts (Words of Choice) and Ego Actus Theatre, in collaboration with Rising Sun Performance Company, uses real-life news stories as the jumping-off point for improvisation and development by a diverse group of actors. The concept is modeled after the Living Newspaper of the Federal Theatre Project, headed by Hallie Flanagan.
